Hank rolling over

Hank rolled over from his stomoach to his back for the first time today. He was just laying on the floor and all the sudden he was on his back. I hurried and grabbed the camera and put him back on his stomach and he rolled over again before I could get the camera ready. So I put him on his stomach again and began recording. It took him awhile to roll over the third time but I did get it recorded. So just be a little patient and you'll see it.

Hank's baby blessing

Hank was blessed by his dad on Sunday the 4th of July. Tyson gave him a very beautiful blessing. Hank was so good the whole time. He was asleep before they started but as soon as his dad started talking he woke up and paid attention to what was being said. When the blessing was over Tyson held Hank up for everyone to see and Hank flashed the biggest smile. It was such a wonderful day.

The 4th of July

After the 4th of July parade we went to Josh and Lindsay's house for a very yummy BBQ. There was tons of delicous food and fun had by all. All of the kids went into the pool by choice. Kirstin, Tyson and Josh went in by force.

Tyson has been trying to get his fill of fishing before we move to Portland and his dad has been more than willing to help keep him company.

Camping Summer 2010

We've gone camping a few times this summer and Hank really seems to enjoy it. He loves being outside, he truly is his father's son.

More of Hank

So most of our post are going to be of Hank, thats just how it works once you have kids. And as usual with your first we take pictures of everything. Now we will share some of them with you.

Hank loves his swing. He would sit in it all day if he could. He'll sit there and just look around until the swinging makes him fall asleep.

My two guys feel asleep just like this the other morning. It was so cute.

Hank likes to just sit on your lab and look around so I decided to try the Bumbo out. He loved it. He only lasts for about 10min before he gets tired of holding up his head, but for those 10 mins he just smiles.
Hank isn't a huge fan of tummy time but he's getting better and holding himself up. Like sitting in the Bumbo he only lasts about 10mins before he's done.

1 month old

My sister Carina took some pictures of Hank when he was just a few days older than a month. I think they turned out really good and I'm so glad she was so nice to take them for us. He was so good while we took the pictures, it was almost as if he was posing for us.

Asleep in his carseat.

I love this picture. He is so cute when he sleeps.

He makes this face ALL of the time. It's the funniest thing.

Look at those little fat rolls. (Why are those only cute on little babies?)

This is my favorite of all. Like I said before he was totally posing.

He is the sweetest little boy ever.

I love his cute little toes, or as Jill says, "His little big feet."
Thanks again Carina! These turned out great!

Baby Hank Update

Hank is growing up so fast. He is 3 1/2 weeks old. He'll be 1 month old on Tuesday the 25th. I can't believe how fast it's going. I took him to the doctor yesterday and he weighs 9lbs 8oz, he's growing like a little weed. He has been a super good baby. Occasionally he gets fussy when he eats but we are hoping that gets better soon. Last night I was lucky enough to have him sleep from 11pm to 5am. That is something I could get use to but am not expecting. Hank is starting to be awake more during the day and is very alert. He is constantly looking around and taking in his surroundings.

Some pics of Hank from the last couple weeks:
Hanging out with Aunt Barbara.
Every once in a while Hank lays in our bed in the morning after his morning feeding. Unfortunately Hank had a little accident, the first bed wetting experience.

Hank hanging out with we watched a movie.

Tyson labeled this one: "Caught in the act." He pulls this face when he is pooping.

Hank is wearing one of Tyson's old pajamas. I thought it was a total photo op.

This is my favorite. He is so cute and peaceful.

First Walk

Hank was one week old last Sunday, I know I'm behind but we don't have internet at our house. We decided to take out on his first walk. While on our walk we found a path down to the river by Walmart. It was a paved path so Hank did a little off-roading in his stroller. It was the perfect day for a walk and Hank really seemed to enjoy it.
