Hank's first pet

Tyson and I decided it would be fun to let Hank have a pet. I know he's only 4 months old but honestly I think it was more for Tyson than Hank. We got Hank three little fishies. They are goldfish named after his favorite movie.

Hank is Four Months old

I just wanted to say Happy Four Month Birthday to my little man. He and I have become really good friends that last couple weeks because it's just been the two of us. A few things about Hank at 4 months:

  • Hank is such a happy little guy. All you have to do is look at him and he'll give you the biggest grin back.
  • He likes to stay up late and sleep in late. (still working on this one)
  • He loves his bath time. He'll kick and splash as long as I let him, even if the water has gone cold.
  • He loves eating solid food. His favorite so far is pears.
  • He is always wanting to sit up, which is hard because he is not even close to doing it on his own.
  • He has rolled from stomach to back four times in one day over a month ago and will not do it again.
  • He rolled from his back to his stomach last Sunday but no one saw it and he won't do it again. (little stinker)
  • He hardly ever gets sad but when he does he has a lower lip that sticks out at least a mile.
  • He has found his hands and feet and that alone will entertain him for a long time.
  • He LOVES to be outside. We go on at least one walk everyday, sometimes three or four. This kid is super smart about it too...he'll start screaming the second I close the door, so we can't come inside until he's asleep and even then he'll wake up just a few minutes later.

Daddy took this pic this morning.

This is my favorite picture. He is such a little man. Sorry the quality isn't super...it was taken with my phone.

This is the only picture we have of "the lip" it usually sticks out further.

I just love this kid so much. Right now we are watching Toy Story and he keeps letting out little giggles...co cute! We are so blessed to have him in our family. Every day I can see little bits of his personality coming out.

Our New Place!

Here are a few pictures for all those that wanted to see our new place...Erin... Our apartment may be small but we love it and it's in such a great area. We are only a few blocks from the Portland Temple.

This is in our cute entryway...Thanks again mom!

This is the last room I have left to organize and since it's also Tyson's study room there is a lot of stuff there. We also just started putting stuff there that we didn't know what else to do with, so this is going to be a weekend project. That way Tyson will be able to help in between study times. We really do love where we are but we miss everyone back at home. We love you all!

Waluga Park

Tyson and I found this fun little park about a mile from our house. There is acutally two parks connected with this little dirt path.

Mommy and Hank walking down the path, Hank slept through most of the park trip

This path is full of lots of yummy wild berries

The yummy berries that Tyson picked, they were so good!

Hank's first cereal

Hank had been wanting to eat every 2-2 1/2 hours which is okay during the day but not so fun at night. We decided to start him on rice cereal to help him sleep throught the night. He loved it from the start and still enjoys his rice cereal time. My little boy is such a good eater. There is a lot of pictures because they were all cute I had a hard time picking.

He's blowing spit just like his daddy taught him which is usually fine but not when there's cereal in his mouth, I was covered

So good!

Mom and Makell drove out with Brendie and Hank. Then they stayed for a few days to help unpack and organize. We went shopping and stayed up late one last time. We drove them to the airport wednesday morning and said a very tearful goodbye. We love you guys and are so grateful for all your help and support.

The Gundersen Family Campout

The last weekend in July all of the Gundersens, except Jason and Teryn who were greatly missed, went camping at Green Canyon. It was alot of fun to spend time with everyone one last time before me moved. Josh even roasted a whole pig. It was great!
